prefuse came all the way to canada just to play for like five people, but we were all pretty into it. he couldn't bring his live band and apologised. the crowd gave thansk anyway. there was bass. |

by the time the show was over there were just like three people and two chairs. he played an improvised encore anyway. |

5 people? that sounds completely insane. I would think a 300-400 crowd could easily be gathered in anyone of the 'big' cities in denmark. what a shame! hope you had a good time tho! |

final fantasy was brilliant. all those layers just blew my mind. grizzly bear were pretty all right. after grizzly bear's show i called the main dude (?) over to shake his hand. he was really friendly. akron/family tomorrow plus a lot of bands i've never heard of. also checked out that brian eno thing. it was, uh, neat. nice ambient music, though. this festival is temporarily turning my crappy city into the most happening place in ontario, if only for one weekend. i hope it comes back next year. |
