thanks, yeah this is pretty interesting outing by Ata/sote . He discovered this guy i think around last year while stay ing in Iran. As far as i know he's never released any music before on cd. And ata if y ou are reading correct me on this but i think some of the Sote disc is reworkings of this guy's raw material from the 60s and 70s. |

interesting jackeroffer. Dont you have connections/contact w/sote- Arnt you affiliated with recordlable records or just a fan- Just reread the tracks, so its isnt 13 tracks by sote but a combination with Ata Ebtekar- |

Ata ebtekar is Sote. I run record label records, but i am in no way affiliated with Sub rosa. i wouldn't be surprised if Ata/Sote is reading this thread, he'll probably respond to whatever questions you have either here or watmm. |

just wanted to clarify a few things about this release. It is a double cd set of entirely new Sote material on the 2nd disc, not remixes. And the 1st disc is by Alireza Mashayekhi. Alireza Mashayekhi has a lot of releases out in Iran unfortunately they are very hard to get in the states or pretty much anywhere else. reminder: this will be out on 10/10 |
