Disco and Introspective, the peak of their career so far

Actually and Behaviour are also notable, but those are some
other shelf

this is the illumination i just been graced by listening to
"opportunities"

I sort of like them. They're like a pair of mittens: warm
and cozy, but uncomfortable in the long run.

oh fuck yea! west end girls!

and opportunities

and stuff

but their sound is so plagiarized (I mean by others, but I
guess they plagiarized people in THEIR turn as well) these
days that it's hard to appreciate it for what it is

then again, somebody might say they were never more than the
Abba of the 80's (which is, again, saying quite a lot).

Please is such a fantastic album. To me it sounds just as
good as the first listen, even now. Love it.

Just kidding, I love them (but not in a gay way... well
maybe a little.... uh I think I'll stop writing now.)

I grew up on Discography (the singles album)... Love it to
death. I've been meaning to check out some of their regular
albums for a long time, now.

i'm just listening to the max tundra remix of i'm with

i keep rediscovering and reappretiating them, either on cd
or vinyl...they were great once and then something changed
them into ultrapop...don't know what it was, don't mean to
investigate the case any further anyway

just wanna say: BAH

they could really go back to that vibe in the 90s, why
didn't they ??

BAH !

new album is awesome - most probably it's thanks to Stuart
Price - and it's a great surprise

bump

guys, I mean it. I thought nothing coming from PSB
[sonically] could amaze me again. Imo they retired and got
boring and inaudible after Behaviour. I got positively
shocked with each track I previewed. More so, the vinyl(s)
sound(s) crisp and bassy, no dissappointment at all.

has anyone given Electric a listen yet ? betamax ? Monoid ?
other 80s / 80s synth pop enthusiasts ? vlariz ? whad'y'all
think of it ?

thanks for reading my post

disco and introspective showed me how electronic/electronic
pop should sound like before Violator happened. it was hard
to get proper sounding recordings of electronic music
towards the end of 1980s but I was lucky to get that PSB and
New Order's - Technique. music history tells me I should've
got some 808 State too, but instead I got Kim Wilde "Close".
why am I typing all this ??
