dirty." sheds new light on my understanding of vinyl.
For years, I was under the impression that my vinyl got more
and more dirty the more I used it, and sometimes even
imagined I saw fingerprints on it when I was using it when
my hands were sweating. I'm ashamed to say I even wasted my
money on vinyl cleaning brushes, solutions and cloths to
remove this build up of dust and dirt. I now see the error
of my ways and will be throwing out all this unnecessary
clutter.

On the subject of the videos, I like the (accidental)
flanging effect as they drift out of time.

The etymology of vinyl is the Latin vinum = "wine", because
of its relationship with alcohol (in its original sense of
ethyl alcohol).
