{{{{{{{{COIL}}}}}}}}}}

ME LOVES COIL!!!!!!!!
Between my best friend and i we have them all!!!! even the
side projects, ie nurse with wound, psychic tv etc.

I sugest that aphex fans get the coil vs. elph cd's: worship
the glitch is great!

e.l.p.h. is a softwar proggy, written by one of the coil
members, that randomly resamples samples...but i believe
that the tracks on the cd are sequenced by man.

I also sugest getting the "black light district" cd's,
simply phenominal!!!!!

Coil is a god!

I only have worship the glitch and Musick to play in the
dark I & II. I'd like to get more but it's just so damn
expensive. They used to offer downloads on their site of
unreleased songs so I've got a few of them too.

i'm a huge fan of their 2 musick to play in the dark
volumes. i also like their equinox series and their late 80s
and early 90s albums like love's secret domain, horse
rotovator, unnatural history 1-3, etc.

you'll love time machines....

it's best played in an enviroment where it's pitch black,
and you're perfectly confortable, and can waste about an
hr...

the cd, is suposed to make you lose track of time, and
venture off into your own mindscapes...truely one of coil's
best.

also, i think that one has the drug formulas on the back of
it...if so, i STRONGLY sugest taking the various drugs on
the back, and listen to the cd...

SAW II is really to play in the dark...

yes it has the drug formulas...

The "Answers Come in Dreams" Snow mixes were both created by
Jack Dangers(Meat Beat Manifesto), not Aphex Twin.
Yes -- John Balance and Peter 'Sleazy' Christopherson of
Coil are both homosexuals as are Simon Norris and Stephen
Thrower of Cyclobe.
The two lads from Matmos as well..

Yeah, 'red birds will fly out of east and destroy paris in a
night' is an amazing song. There's another epic synthesizer
sonata in Musick to Play in the Dark Vol.II titled 'Tiny
Golden Books' which is also very good and has
Thighpaulsandra's signature written all over it.

I've heard 'remote viewer' on the radio(x-rated), they said
it was pretty rare(500) and you could only buy it at their
concerts so I downloaded it. I left the computer on all
night to get it, but it was worth it. I've never heard
bagpipe-ambient before. I'm also really impressed by the
track: 'a cold cell' from 'a guide for beginners'.

Yes, the first Remote Viewer track is amazing! I've never
heard anything like it either..
They're perfroming 'A Cold Cell' on their current tour as
well as 'Slur'(I know you really like Horse Rotorvator).
Wish I could have made it.. Hopefully Simon (Norris)will
bring me back some interesting souvenirs...
I've got my tentacles crossed!

Do you have it Steve?
If so, what are yours' labeled and what are the polaroids
of?
Unfortunately I couldn't afford to order one..
I did get the the rerelease of the Equinox/Solstice
collection though. The live version of 'Amethyst Deceivers'
is really good.
