doesn't bother me much really, I use mine at my desk at work
and when i'm at home it sits in my apple ipod hifi, which is
awesome btw, especially as i got it for £80 from ebay!

I have to say though, this is the best mp3 player i've ever
owned, I have all the iphone apps on it too, and 16GB is
'just about' enough room.

there's about fuck all chance of apple getting £350 + 35
quid a month for 18months for a gadget that offers no real
functionality that i don't already have with my 2nd hand 3rd
gen ipod and my mums old phone. i don't see that it's useful
as an internet browser, and i think i'd have a hard time
taking one out of my pocket to use without 1. feeling like a
look at me prick, 2. Being super conscious that someone
might try and steal it.

conclusion
technology smology. incidently has anyone used the new OSX?
i'm sure it'll be like every apple update i've used in the
last 12 months...ie filling my computer with cak i don't
want and making it loads slower. [grumble grumble]

the new os feels a bit snappier on my systems (imac and
macbook). still a bit buggy though, but the first update
will be released in a couple of weeks. all in all, i'm very
satisfied with it. the upgrade from tiger was child's play.
took me 1 hour. and all the mail/network settings were
transferred automatically. apart from a bug here and there,
and some old apps not being compatible the upgrade was
seamless.
