Top notch percussive music form these two acts in Dublin on Friday. I've only seen Battles on youtube before but these guys are destined to get better id say. I think radiohead are leaders in the field of rock-electronics though but lets wait and see.... they have a good setup... sweet off-kilter rock...
Clark was amazing - live drums, plenty of "Body Riddle" action plenty of old favourites and all on hardware. Fantastic emotive music. Support form Ambulance too... been ages since i saw them... great stuff... autechre for the dancefloor.. is the simplest way to put it....

I saw them in leeds. The drummer from Battles is amazing isn't he?! :D he's like a human, really really sweaty version of flat eric. After the gig he could barely stand up to go off stage he was that knackered from how hard he'd been playing. It was one of the best gigs I've been to i think
