no, it's actually a canadian thing. supposedly we had a
canadian clique on the board, but when the rest of the board
got notice it was all against the tiny clique. :-)

Looked at forcedexposure and ear-rational, and called my
local record store. Has anyone found a domestic release for
this or is it going to be a skam, warp, boomkat only
kinda thing-
i.e. The Tuss-

Listened to the samples again at skam|||||really good.

that would be nice, I ended up buying from warpmart, both
tuss's, and it ended up being about $38.00 for 2 cds, with
shipping and all :(

and amazon.com didnt show any sign of the cd, coming out in
about a week or so......

Who the fuck can I get it from, thats not accross the pond?

Any american labels, nobody knows nothing of this around
here or on the american internets.

Do I have to pay $22.00 for a fucking cd at warpmart/skam?

O'snap.

Its rephlex's problem and now skams problem that they dont
have this as a domestic copy (as of yet).

The dollar is worth something, just the S&H overseas is also
where it hurts bigtime. But The Tuss's I ordered are ace. As
does the Gescom sound very good. Just hope I can find a
domestic copy.

this is pretty great.

2nd track does have classic 303 squelchies, but to be honest
this is reminding me more of mr. oizo than anything.

there's a kind of freewheeling dementedness about which im
totally enjoying.

all in all, enjoyable. not a real 'wow' experience, but
groovy all the way and with some really good standout tracks
(a1, c1 and d1 are probably my faves).

this isnt really new music
its just really cut-up music from original tunes
obviously the acid one they just created new music with
existing records quite interesting but i think its too
glitchy

a1, c1 = best.

it could sound ridiculous, but those of you who are into old
King Crimson - did you think about KC when first listening
to this new gescom ? hmm....well i did

another quite ridiculous reference: the vocal bits in D1,
those remind me very much of the vocal samples in rdj's 54
cymru beats

well, I got in from work and my 12's were here waiting...I
listened thru a few times, and I was pretty into it,but then
had a mix with it.....its brilliant, really fucking great
mixing tool! havent buzzed off mixing with vinyl that much
in ages, love the way all the skiddy bits in the beats sit
in the gaps in the rhythm of whatever you mixing it
with..top shit for sure
