It's out.

it sounds pretty strange.. the second track is a pop ballad
type thing.

Oh wow, it has finally been released? Will check this out
immediately. Photek hasn't released anything really good
since the first volume dropped back in the 90s, but his
catalogue before then (which is actually very extensive what
with all his aliases) is untouchable. I hope this is good.

what the hell. this doesn't sound like photek at all. sounds
like a technical itch album, to me.

what the hell

deadly technology and sidewinder are some pretty nice
tracks, but i prefer the original photek (modus operandi and
form and function)

Funny, I just had Modus Operandi in my car earlier this
week.

I haven't heard this yet, but I will have to check it out.
It's sort of a conundrum with Photek. If this release is
anything like his last few 12's, then it's like he's
flip-flopping with a lot of producers. You see, back in the
early-mid 90's Photek was doing his own style of
Jungle/Downtempo, while a lot of producers (not all) were
still messing around with Hardcore/Ragga - dance oriented
stuff.

heard some basic channel and autechre samples in "one
nation". ...and that's about the most interesting part about
this release. it's not but, though. it's just run of the
mill drumnbass. or whatever that shit's called nowadays.
