bought me a deep frying device
just like the one they have at chippies...

i dont know how i survived without one.
you switch it on, wait 4 minutes,
throw in anything you like
french fries, fish sticks, octopuss rings,
all at once, 3 mins later you have a meal !

also great for spring rolls...

me mate said my teeth will fall out within a month
and i will die of skorbut, scurvy, whatever...

anyway its excellent if you spent too much time
on the net, making music... and just forgot to cook

besides chippie stores got rare around here

and i had a healthier meal already,
no problem enjoying my fat, salty, fries right now

Frying's not that bad, people. The trick is to fry in
moderation, use oil healthier oils such as peanut or sesame
oil, and fry foods only as long as you see bubbles escaping
them, after which time the oil will be filling the food you
are frying. I may have explained that slightly off, but it
was something I saw on Alton Brown's show Good Eats, which
if you aren't familiar with it, is all about debunking the
common myths associated with cooking. If you don't over-fry
the food, and pat/press it gently to soak up any excess oil
after cooking, frying really isn't as morbid as many people
make it out to be.

Getting fried foods from places such as McDonalds, on the
other hand, is a bad idea.

I know, I was teasing. I fry stuff (admittedly in a pan) all
the time. Pressing the food with kitchen towels afterwards
gets rid of a lot of the excess fat. :)
