As I understand, carbonated water is pretty uncommon in the US? You should acquire a taste for it, it's the most refreshing of all drinks when it's served ice cold. |

I think it has its place - in sodas and tonic drinks. I tried drinking it once by itself and it tasted exactly as I expected - like water with a dirty carbon tasted. Perhaps it was poor quality water that was giving me the bad taste, but it had a distinctly stale air taste to it, so I assume it was the carbonation. |
