Yes, right on both accounts. I'm shocked that this is passed
of as a new Kanye West song, merely samping Daft Punk,
rather than just a version of Harder, Better, Faster,
Stronger featuring Kanye West.

I like Kanye West and the song is really good. I've heard
of Daft Punk but don't know the music. Is he the person
who's singing in the background? Very futuristic, indeed!

Hahha, I remember those kind of sunglasses! Awfully
disturbing if you wore them a whole day and then took them
off...

I meant the opposite of everything I said. I've always
liked the singles/videos Daft Punk puts out but I've never
purchased one of their albums. I'll take your advice and
find those two post-haste. *gets ready for love*

Daft Punk also "sampled" others so it all as come to a full
circle.

'[kanye west] doesn't care [about writing his own music] or
black people'

really i could give two fucks about what this guy does. the
majority of the 'music' business today sucks in
general...its just funny to watch it continue to suck. and
i know daft punk sampled pretty much everything but the
kitchen sink on their last album but...wasn't the track in
question an original daft punk thing? i dunno

it'd be funny if pdiddy brought a case against him in court
for ripping off his idea to rip off another artist...some
how manage to get said ripped off artist to agree to appear
in person or video singing with him etc etc.

PS led zeppelin are a bunch of no good dirty pricks too. I
read and listened to a bunch of tracks they claim they wrote
but were in fact other peoples...what an orgy of idea
stealing

so did anyone else notice that not only is kanye blatantly
using daft punk to make this track anywhere decent, he's
doing something another rapper has already done.

busta rhyme's touch it takes a catchy daft punk
robotic vocal, slows it down, and loops it. ha, cant even
find an original way to rip people off. :P

well yeah, greanted, at least he doesnt just let it loops
for the whole track and have it rest entirely on the
excellency of dp.

I don't get it. So he used a sample, what's your problem? It
sounds quite different from the original anyway.

i think he's singing he wants to get laid but because he
doesn't get it right now it's a case of 'what doesn't kill
me can only make me stronger'

i think the backing track with the synths and stuff sounds
kind of nice though

I just saw this video a little while ago. I don't like
Kanye West - his music and his personality. And WTF is this
ripping off Akira. I mean come the fuck on.

Just goes to show, even though Kanye tried his darndest,
that you can't polish a turd.

i think it just stands that kanye's rapping is pedantic at
best and the only thing which makes this song tolerable is
the daft punk sample, so why not just listen to the original
then?
