I'd definitely keep up the uploading if you kick me down an
account, my email is flanneryfam@sbcglobal.net. Thanks ahead
of time if you decide I'm worthy of em, hehe.

I'd consider giving an invite to one of you, but you all
sound like children. "kick me down an account." Please. If
one of you could write a literate request, I would CONSIDER
giving an invite to someone. Plus, please create an avatar.

I'm very displeased with that avatar. Please try again.
Also, you must write a more mature request. You're getting
on the right track, though.

Sorry about the improper post beforehand, it's hard to tell
sometimes what level the general forum audience is operating
on. I would very much like an account at OiNK; my friends
have had them for a while now, but somehow I have missed out
on any invitations they might have earned. I use BitTorrent
frequently (often from this very site; the live torrents are
great!) and despite the fact that most torrent sites do not
keep track of upload/download statistics, I always seed the
torrents I download. I think that the wide variety of music
that OiNK offers would keep me busy/happy for quite a while.
Whether or not you decide to offer me one of your
invitations, thank you for the consideration, at least.

Okay, a little better. There are still more stipulations to
be met. And if you refuse, then I suppose you don't want an
invite as bad as I think you do.

Will you jump through hoops for an invite? That is what it
will take.

And just so you don't think that this is a joke or bluff,
here is a picture of the precious invites you so covet.

Haha, I believe you. Sure, I'll jump through a few hoops, I
know how good it is to have an account there, I'm sure it's
worth it.

First, it seems that ktea33 wants nothing to do with getting
an invite since he refuses to participate. So, I guess it's
just me and you, flannerus.

Change the avatar again. Make it something more
creative--and not your face!

The next step will be to write a poem about how women should
be respected and how they are better than men. For extra
points you can throw in something about me saving some
helpless lass from a bunch of knuckle-dragging men. We can
ride off into the sunset on a horse or something.

Alright, get on it.

So thoughtful, so gentle
beauty transcendental;
the life of woman
is much more
than simple work
and mindless chore;
upon intelligent seas they sail,
creating waves which overtake the male;
So men be sure to answer their wishes
'Tis you who should tend to the dishes;
and don't forget to wash the floor,
Mars isn't in charge anymore.

and here's a little limerick for you Mr. B:

There once was a lady
From way down in Haiti
Who was flogged on the daily
by beaus;
But when Mr. Brazil
Moved in for the kill
He didn't even have to propose.

Haha, they're a little weird, but all original, that's for
sure.

offline Mr Brazil from Oh Joan, I love you so... on 2007-08-09 23:04 [#02110192]
Points: 1970 Status: Lurker | Followup to flannerus: #02110191

Hmm. Yes, yes, good. The last line of the limerlick is
missing an 'S' for the first word, but besides that, you did
fair.

Now you must create a thread introducing yourself to the
community here. If i were you, though, I wouldn't mention
anything about invites. It is your job to win over the folks
here. They are all good people and deserve more than
pleadings for torrent invites.

After you have won over the majority of the population of
xltronic.com, you then must accrue at least 100 posts by
posting in various threads on this messageboard. Talk about
music, a plus if it's electronic music. There are many types
of topics that are not music related that you can post in,
too. Your posts cannot be jibberish, they must pertain to
the topic at hand or be a reply to someone in the thread.

I will check on how this is going tomorrow afternoon. If you
succeed, you get the invite. If not. Well, you don't get an
invite. Good luck!

Well, what are you waiting for? Get on it.

offline Mr Brazil from Oh Joan, I love you so... on 2007-08-09 23:06 [#02110193]
Points: 1970 Status: Lurker

Oh. Although your current avatar is a vast improvement, you
still better your chances for an invite with something a
little different. In fact, change up your avatar every now
and then just to keep it interesting.

Good night for now.

Perhaps Nirvana said it best:

I am my own parasite

This is the future. This is it. I would call
it a giant fractal of asses but I already referred to
flash's help file system as such. This is what people tried
to imagine all those years ago. Their stupid neurons would
fire and come up with the weak mental forsight and image of
one solid colored not-so-complex flying saucer. Well it
didn't turn out to be that exactly; it is much more real and
sick and shitty. I can feel the technology writing all over
me. The only people that are happy in this time must be
insane. It's a new beginning of large superior entities
created from smaller ones and we are basically the food. It
gets worse and worse and worse. Oh, the poor souls on the
earth. Life doesn't make any sense. And either ethics
doesn't exist at all, or its the only thing that exists. Aw,
who cares.

And mario sunshine feels like it was made by people who hate
their lives. Even the music annoys me. This is mario
brothers
(or some bastardized version anyway) and the
music annoys me. And Austin Powers Goldmember sucked.
People can't concentrate to make art anymore, or even to
make sense anymore, because everything is becomming so
antiprofound and confusing that there is just no
inspiration. Everyone is hassled. Something bad is going to
happen to everyone soon I think.

Haha, yeah I decided it's really not as big a deal as that
whole procedure was worth. I don't mind writing poetry,
that's fun, but really, I don't have the time to dedicate
myself to some scavenger hunt for popularity points. In
fact, I'm even pretty confident that my grammar/mechanics
are doing just fine. The avatar is staying as the picture I
took, and Mr Brazil, every sentence must have a subject,
keep that in mind.

10 points is a dangerous start. You should be warned right
now of this places sickly gravitational effect. You can
never leave and it sucks here. If you read this reply it
might already be too late. But as much as it sucks you
eventually realize that everything else, amazingly, manages
to suck even more. This place is kind of like a shelter
actually. Outside of this place we are conditioned to think
we are insane relative to them. But in here we know
it is the other way around. *fries my own face in a frying
pan*
