I was in detroit earlier in the year. There's a good record store on nine mile (near where it crosses 8 mile) and obviously it's the birthplace of techno, but other than that it had no redeeming features that I could see. |

Detroit is all about who you hang with. If you don't have a crew to roll with... then the city is pretty boring. But if you've got your group of friends and hang out often... the city is all good. Record Time is all good. Music and Melodies is sweet... but if you call/email and book the time and have some $$$ it's always worth going to Submerge for some records. Usually someone interesting is there... or if you get to check out the museum on the main floor... that alone makes it worth the work to get in that place. |
