5 years and its pretty boring really.

Someone entertain me with what they've been doin in the last
5 years.

Please.

Last five minutes, maybe. Posting here, listening to some
new breakcore and downloading christ's album. pretty boring
too, even though i am a newbie, I had 200 posts in two days
and I got myself kicked out, thank you everyone (in a good
way:)

Life is boring. You were only put here to eat, sleep and
procreate. Any activity above that which your imagination
dreams up is not wanted or required by the body and is of no
use to the planet whatsoever.

Stop measuring yourself against what other people do or
don't do. You are you, and as long as you have pretensions
of being anything other than what you are you will be
miserable.

Very true, but its not always that easy, as its in human
nature to socialise and become accepted.

my last 5 years is kind of like the smiths song... 'I was
looking for a job, and then I found a job And heaven knows
I'm miserable now...'

Jobs keep me going, they add structure and discipline to
life and they also provide money, which also is important.

A couple of my friends have been murdered. I split up with
my long term girlfriend. Sold my property too early and
spent all the money on stupid stuff. Working again and
having fun.

ive been here just as long. ive changed careers three times,
from artist to chef, and now back to student again at 28!.

five years ago i was going out every night, drinking and
smoking a lot, id get home in the small hours and post on
here until it was light. i had a lot of laughs on here, and
i was fully into the music.

ive calmed down a lot since then. my personality has ungone
some extensive renovation. i view people very differently,
and i look for the good in everyone. judgement has lost its
relevance, we all appear to be fundamentally alike.

i still come here a lot, without needing any good reason. in
my spare time nostalgia often takes hold! its a relaxing
place, hopping between my couch and the computer with my
wierd music.

You speak a lot of sense.

Nostalgia is comforting isn't it.
I belive there is a lot of lost souls on this board, I guess
the music attracts us.
