Korg ES-1 for sale

Hi!
To fund part of my purchase of an Elektron Machinedrum, I'm
selling my Korg Electribe S mk1 that I barely use.
It's in very good condition, and I've got the manual,
adapter, and I think I also have the box.
One thing I do find amazing with the ES-1 is the effects,
they're great to feed live audio through. Also, the
sampling's good, but as I said, I haven't really used it
that much in the few years I've had this, which is the other
reason why I'm selling it. It's just taking up room.
Anyway, I'm really looking for £150 for it, but I'm willing
to lower the price a bit for you. If no one responds from
the forums I'm posting this on, then it'll go up on eBay.
Thanks,
FutureImage.

Have you got the maximum size memory card for it too?

I just checked my bank balance online, no way I can afford
it this month (nor possibly next month) :(

Well I've got a Smart Media card for it yes, but whether
that's maximum I don't know.
I might throw it in with the sampler in the sale.

They were selling them brand new on Dawsons for 99.99 a
couple of months ago (including that fancy valve fucker)

Are we on about the same thing? I always thought
THIS was the one with the "tubes"

THIS is the model I'm selling just for
clarification with everyone.

Yep. They were selling all back stock of electribes for
99.99 on a first come first served in store basis. I ran as
fast as I could but they had sold out before I got there. :(

There was loads of stuff going. They sent an email with
everything stupid prices but it sold out in a flash.

Bugger, if you'd picked up a couple of ESXs you could have
made a killing.

I'm still baffled as to why the 'tribes have been
discontinued. I've hardly ever heard a bad word said about
them (apart from scopers who think the EA-1 is a bad synth
for under £100) and they always seemed to sell quite well.

The EA-1 can do a few things well, but can't really do
anything other than those few things. It does some great
acid though, and it's a good MIDI sequencer. However, I'm
finding myself turning to my ER-1 (yes, you think correct,
the drum machine) for sequences. Pre-programming the parts
to different pitches then using the arp on my Ion can make
some lush basslines.
