but i know nothing about them. im not looking for something
really fancy, just something to play vinyls that has a good
sound quality. id be ready to pay about 100$ US.

i know there are a lot of djs on this forum. i really
would appreciate some help please! thanks

cortex,

if you don't want to shell out almost $3000.00 for the rega
planar 9(i dream about this turntable) I guess the best bet
would be to pick up technics basic model(belt drive)
turntable which I believe best buy carries or you could
probably get one cheaper online somewhere. but for $100.00
you have to settle for a sony turntable or something other
than technics. good luck hunting one down.

whoops,

forget to say that if you will be using it for d.j. purposes
than you will need to get a direct drive turntable but of
course those are more expensive. cheers

for $100 you honestly can't get much

i started with a pair of numarks - direct drive TT1910/1520;
each costed me ~$200 when i bought them... definitely a
great way to start if you don't have much cash

actually, i still have them and have been meaning to put
them up on ebay for a while now - let me know if interested,
but i'll probably sell them together with a stanton mixer i
have

ive been thinking about the numark tt1520... care to say
how much you'd expect? or is it already on ebay by now?
