who here thinks it's time for a beatles reunion tour? i
imagine a worldwide tour could really get people excited
about music again, in a way people haven't been able to
since the beatles first split up. i'd probably pay for
tickets no matter how expensive they were.

That would be awesome!!! And Jimi Hendrix could be warmup.
What is that cat up to these days?

by Beatles you mean Paul and Ringo - maybe Paul could play
some dull iPod-generated folksy guitar over Ringo narrating
the exciting adventures of Thomas The Tank Engine to a group
of infants.

i was actually thinking they could be like the white
stripes! with ringo on drums and paul on celery and a slow
montage of photos of the better beatles being played on a
large projector screen behind them.

Beatles to Reunite Fall 2009

Hot on the heels of the recently released and highly
successful Love album, pop music legends the Beatles have
announced a new worldwide tour to prove to the world that
they are back in top form. At a press conference held today
Paul said that he will be lugging around the same piano used
for the recording of Hey Jude, which will have hardcore fans
tingling the world. Ringo says that he will be including the
use of a drum machine in addition to his regular drumming as
a means of performing syncopated drumming for each of the
songs, a technique he has been experimenting with for some
time now. Both of the lads were visibly excited about
meeting fans old and new as they prepare for the most
long-awaited reunion in music history. [MORE...]

If Paul and Ringo had the audacity to team up and call
themselves ''The Beatles'', I'd put on my Helghast Elite
Guard uniform, equip myself with my Helghan Assault Rifle,
and call in the Third Helghan Army and we would kill
EVERYONE ON EARTH

they say happiness is a warm gun. does that mean you should
use a revolver?

Please Please Me by purchasing a Revolver, meeting me at
Abbey Road, and embarking on a Magical Mystery Tour,
rounding up the remaining members of defunct pop group The
Beatles, and shooting them before they embarrass themselves
further. "Help!" they may cry forlornly but, after selling
out to the iPod Corp*, I say Let It Be a bloodbath.

* Well, Paul.

I kind of liked that thing Paul did with Youth (Orb, Killing
Joke, etc) a few years ago. I mean, some of it sounded 90s
dated but I still thought it was pretty decent.
