so im a poor student and can't afford to spend the gobs of
money it costs to legally pruchase most music apps, and
thanks to ilok and other techniques companies are using, all
the biggies are uncrackable (or at least not easily
available) for os x.

normally i would be dual booting windows at this point, but
due to previous problems i cant even do that. and i just
tried to download rebirth, but i need to install the classic
environemt and my cd-rom is broken so even this is an
unavailable option to me at this point.

so basically, what are some free apps i can use to make
noise on my mac?! i feel like im drowning here, i need to
make some music, havent done so in months!

If you want free things go to KVR. You can get all the apps
for free using certain routes but they aren't going to
develop anymore if you do.

There's a few famicom tracker emulators, C64 quality
emulators and Spectrum music programs that cost at the most
$25.
