did anyone think that david lunch went a bit overboard with
this one? In his last movie mullholland falls, i felt he
wanted to express a certain amount of lesbian tension and
desensitize a bit of us to what love might actuaully mean
between two beautiful women, but with the latest he has
truly overstepped his bounds. I mean, he's totally ripping
LOST with his effects and way of making the point hard to
realize until the final "episode". I realize that this is
not a TV show, but there are obviously hints that suggest he
will make at least 2 or 3 followups to "inlet". There are
just so many questions! What about the lady with the wrench
inside of her uterus, or the way lucious justin theroux
seems to simply disregard the relationship with (i have to
say) HIDEOUSLY wardrobed dern (who came up with the costume
ideas anyway?). All Iknow is that this romantic comedy needs
a followup and SOON. Let's just await the moment when the
same lustic gusto is exercised between lucious theroux and
dern in the remake.

have i forgotten a certain amount of TRON? TRON, which
happens to be my favorite cinema experience. No, i could not
possibly be in the wrong place. This messageforum might as
well be called "Movies movies movies!"

And yes, I came here because I love movies.

trent tree ( i suppose kind of like trent reznor???)

your avatar reminds me of jessica biels character in the
illusionist. I understand that i'm new to this movie critic
thing, but i've definately seen
film you're alluding to, so don't regard me as some sort of
dummy when it comes to hollywood greats! I know my "shit",
and my favorite movies include Cubrick's 1984, a space
odyssey. So if you don't think i've seen my fair share of
audio-visual media, you can totally refer to my "list-o-
movies" on netflix and see that i have pretty wide-reaching
tastes. I just recently watched Tim Burton's 'Blade runner',
and i'm pretty damn sure that was ahead of it's time, so if
you think you can trump me on some modern sci-fi movie that
makes sense only when viewed in sucession with it's
television counterpart, you're a fool.I think you should
probably buckle down and watch "fireflies" ( the swears are
in chinese), in which they explained all the issues in
serenity ( which was also made into some comic books which
were really great), and then you can approach me again. Yeah
i totally don't know what im talking about (heh). I think i
probably totally DO.

Ok, well this is the only post wher ei feel comfortalbe, and
i just want to say i'm about to sign off forever because you
people are in dire need of psychiatric help. you think our
babies and families are "childrones", and you want to make
them negative and obey your rules like the "jackass" movies.
Do you even REMEMBER liquid telelvision? Aeon flux, the
maxx, and possibly any of the other DIDACTIC, MORALIZING
cartoons that USED to have merit? I admit that Peter
Chung's advocation of a frenzied, anorexic female figure is
deplorable, but the embedded morality contained within the
storylines and her altercations with trevor are the true
nutmeat, and reinforce the beauty of fatalistic
love-grubbing. There's a healthy pentacostal understanding
of functional reproduction that I feel that the elite few
really enter into their repertoire. god bless YOUR
childrones, godless mother!

Don't take this place too serious, ok? There is just some
kind of newbie-bashing here on XLT. And there will always be
someone who can't disagree with but instead have to tell you
that YOU ARE WRONG!

I desperately wanna see this movie, but I can't find out
when it comes to Norway. Anyone?

Yeah. And welcome to XLT

Yeah, ignore the newbie bashers. Every single one of them
deserves castrating.

"And there will always be
someone who can't disagree with but instead have to tell
you
that YOU ARE WRONG! "

I relate to this monstertorso. I thought it would probably
be a funny joke to fake my location ( so that people didn't
actually know my location but adding an element of humor
instead of saying 'you cant have that, dude!'), but in
reality it's seen as a breech of communication, and honestly
i don't feel like these people will be satisfied until i
give them my zip-code and phone number. They lull you into a
false sense of security, and then try to act like they know
you in person, which has happened to me on many occassions.
I was on a few other messageboards which talked about
movies, and most people didn't even want narrative pictures.
THEY FORCED ME INTO FILMING MYSELF IN SCENES OF A SEXUAL
NATURE, AND WANTED TO PAY ME MONEY FOR IT. Yeah: i am a
nudist. Yeah: i am an exhibitionist. It's like being a
musician: you don't get PAID for it unless you SELL OUT.
Basically I like movies, and will get naked on a camphoto,
but once it gets personal and you are even some sort of
spielburger, I won't sell these images!

well, what do you guys talk about anyway? I don't even know!
i see posts about the female anatomy, gay men coming out,
prefuse 73's inability to do simple algebra despite his
recording alias, and a widespread profession of satanic
child-rearing methods. I don't want to TRY to fit in, but I
CAN. Grrr! Stop telling me i don't belong here!
