The drums are a bit outside of the rest of the track. You could try letting that first part run a bit longer and slowly adding more and more reverb until you let the drums loose and the reverb wraps around them. That last part could also be longer.
Other than that, quite good!

your edits are pretty dope im just wondering how devastating this shit would be if you had some big ass kick drums and some real cutty/dotty sounding snare sounds and hh's

Haha what a twatty reply! Do you give lessons? He's making a track his way and merely asking what you think, not for advice on how you would do it. Listening to some of you it's as if there were formulas one must stick to.
Why do people spam here? It's so fucking worthless and generally all it does is diminish works (often the fault of the spammer).
Are spammers generous, looking for a pat on the back, wanting some DM advice on how the kick should sound? You lot are so desperate. if you want love, there's better ways than making tracks. Is it about admiration?
I do realize some of you really enjoy listening to other member's tracks, and i respect that. I mean, so do I. I listen to most spams here. I tend not to reply though as i hardly ever like anything that's done. Not that's it's bad stuff. There's a lot of talent. its just that often it's simply a mild rip-off made to get bit of love. Never any guts whatsoever with a few exceptions. DIM.
Nice one bivcore, carry on and you'll be our very own venetian snares! One is enough though.

Hmm. When I spam, I prefer replies that actually give some sort of critique to replies like "good, yeah!" even though it's nice to hear stuff like that as well, so whenever I feel I have something to say beyond "good, yeah," I do so. Also, when I make music, I make music because I feel like making music. I'll bet it's the same for most other people.

Hah, so you spam here for people to tell you how you SHOULD have done your track? Just makes little sense to me, even though (surprise) i make music because i want to as well! mad isn't it? Once i do a track, it's my baby. If it gets heard by other people generally they like it or they don't. If it can create some sort of positivity or bring up emotions in someone then great, if it's not the person's cup of tea then fair enough, but i'm not interested in hearing how they think i should do my work. Deep down all that matters is that my baby is exactly how i wanted it even if it's poor, and if i make my drums stick out and not blend in with the flute then it's because i wanted it to be that way.
I just feel with any art you like it or not. it speaks or it doesn't. When you start to interfere with someone else's work by suggesting he should have done it like this and not like that, i think it destroys the whole point and is very disrespectful and haughty. I mean do your own tracks the way you like em and let others do them their way. You can always say you didn't like the way the drum sticks out, or how the panning is lazy. I'm certainly not saying one shouldn't be critical and not speak his mind!!
Anyway, this is just me, you just carry on giving your 'advice' on how tracks could sound better (i'm sure you see now the subjectiveness behind telling someone how to do a track for it to be great). it goes with how you are on here in general, desperate for the admiration of others (Drunken Mastah is an intellectual). You try so hard to appear clever. You're a mixed up student (philosophy was it?) with a lot of potential. Do you get little respect outside your net world? Are you bullied and mocked? Do you have an inferiority complex?
We could talk on Msn or slsk sometime if you want, for the flow. I probably sounded patronizing here and it's not what i want.

Well, I tend to take advice on structure or mixing, or just anything that's more technical. I wouldn't change a note if someone said a C should be an A, but if someone says the drums are too quiet or that one part drags on for too long, I change it 'cause usually it's something I would indeed do myself anyway if I hadn't been listening to the track for too long while making it, or, in other words, if someone else had made the track and spammed it so that I could react to it.
As for the rest of your post, I can confirm that I study philosophy. I just finished my bachelor and I'm on to the master. The rest of it you can figure out on your own.

For me the level of such layer or whatever sound in the mix, however treated is as much an integral part of a track i make as is the melody, structure etc.. to each his own. thanx for the chat.
