MC-202 TB-303 TR-808 TR-909 Machinedrum SPS-1 Nord Lead 2x Atari Falcon030
shortly will be auctions for my Yamaha AW4416 audio workstation/digital mixer, and Logic 2.5 for the Atari.
At the moment i'm only really accepting bids from UK mainlaind residents, but if there's someone on here who's international who's desperate for an item, we might be able to come to some kind of agreement.

but you're forgetting that i am willing to accept overseas bids - as long as the bidder accepts that postage will increase dramatically due to Royal Mail's recent changes in postal charges

My girlfriend gets back from holiday tomorrow...let me run it by her (I don't know if she has anything planned for Sunday), if everything is OK then I am being serious.
Would 400 be acceptable?

hmmm i'd have to have a think about it....in all honesty £400 was a "hook-line-and-sinker" price to try and get people interested and make bids.
to be frank, i paid £700 for it 3 years ago. but i do realise that the UW version is much more desirable to most people.
and this is a used item (still in good condition though, i don't buy shit looking gear).
hmmmmmmmm

OK think about it overnight. Decide what the minimum you are looking for is and let me know tomorrow. I will then decide yes or no.

well since it's you mate, and i wouldn't have to fanny about with Royal Mail, i would consider letting it go for £400.
trouble is...you do realise i'm back in Burton-upon-Trent, right?

if only i lived in england myself i'd be picking up that tb303, but i hate bidding. I'm a very impatient person, i want to buy it instantly, not wait for someone to always overbid me

you just have to bid what you want to pay for it, and then ebay does the bidding for you automatically
or buy 2nd hand in a shop maybe

sorry, unfortunately because the way the vintage synth market is at the moment i have to leave it down to the public bids.
when i bought the 303 a couple of years ago it cost me £720. i thought that was a bargain (in all honesty), especially for the condition it's in and with the Kenton 5-port kit installed.
i still believe that a decent codition 303 (like mine) should be able to command very similar prices on eBay. unfortunately that's not the case.
the last time i tried selling this stuff at the beginning of the year people were saying i was being unreasonable asking for £900 for my 808. i paid £1000 for it exactly 1 year ago. it's the best looking 808 i've ever seen on eBay, and it has MIDI retro-fit and comes with mint manuals. i still believe that £900 is a fair price, but then i'm biased - i love the 808. prices are a matter of personal opinion.
someone on here (and maybe even you) might think i'm a fucking crazy fucker for paying £1000 for the 808. but i think it was worth it.
anyways, as big has said - put a maximum bid of what you think is a fair price. if you win, you win. if you lose, i'm sure i won't be the last person to sell a 303
