so im surprised i havent seen this discussed here yet, as
they are a warp artist, and people bitched enough about !!!
and maximo park or whatever for me to expect some kind of
griping about them signing more rock bands.

well whoever wants to gripe about these guys, fuck you,
because this debut has single handedly revilatized my faith
in rock music. the description ive been giving people when
raving about it is "if animal collective played prog-rock,
but under the post-rock moniker," but its so much more.

id say more but im getting drunk and listening to it as i
type this.

This song has been discussed many times. Normally I don't
chime in to say as such in duplicated topics, but there have
been at least seven or eight battles threads started this
last month alone.

it's alright yeah..nothing too exceptional, bit too polished
for my taste, bit too straightforward but couple of songs
grab me.

so i just searched for shits and giggles and only came up
with this thread and the one about atlas, which is only one
song, so im failing to see these other seven battles threads
you all speak of.

still a great album. and i guess i should replace prog-rock
with math rock in my initial post. math rock is fun. my best
friend has been getting me into it.

im still drunk, and its the morning after. i was on a
mission last night.

It's great. but not for every mood. i hated their previous
EPs songs/whatever but the album I like a lot.
