DM: (By far) the best 303 'clone' in hardware. Essentially they reverse engineered 303, then tracked down the neccessary (exactly the same) transistors etc. The sound is very very similar, with marginally more mid range and marginally less high end, but aside from that it sounds identical. I actually prefer the sound of it to the original 303, but it is exceedingly difficult to tell them apart. I'd say it's as good as the audiorealism bassline VST, if not a bit better.
It also acts as a midi->cv convertor and basic sequencer and I'm intending to use it to control my 101.
Sheffieldbleep: Yep, arrived in the post last week. I've not built it yet. I'm going to buy proper electric tools/a good soldering iron, do some practice soldering etc. it has been years since I did electronics and I was never very good and the whole thing looks a lot smaller/more fiddly than it did in the pics.
UK folk, be aware, I got stung £41 by the pricks in customs.
Horsefactory: About 8 months, IIRC.
