dog_belch

Somewhere out there beneath the pale moonlight
Someone's thinking of me and loving me tonight

Somewhere out there someone's saying a prayer
That we'll find one another in that big somewhere out there

And even though I know how very far apart we are
It helps to think we might be wishing on the same bright
star

And when the night wind starts to sing a lonesome lullaby
It helps to think we're sleeping underneath the same big
sky

Somewhere out there if love can see us through
Then we'll be together somewhere out there
Out where dreams come true

And even though I know how very far apart we are
It helps to think we might be wishing on the same bright
star

And when the night wind starts to sing a lonesome lullaby
It helps to think we're sleeping underneath the same big
sky

Somewhere out there if love can see us through
Then we'll be together somewhere out there
Out where dreams come true

d_b will be back under one alias or another. Everyone will
figure it out in about five seconds, and the mods will turn
a blind eye.

What, like dogbelch? I think only the closest
observers will guess that dogbelch is.... dog_belch, but
not, as cunty would have it, the_tuss, who was never me, at
all. Who cares, eh?

If you were banned as "dog_belch" (were you?) I would assume
that this new account will be closed shortly. The mods have
to at least keep up some pretence of consistency.

Accept the contradiction. The truth is, I don't know whether
the dog_belch account is closed, but I copied and pasted a
random password and a fake email address so I can't log back
into it as I don't know what .. is the password.

I won't make a habit of coming here again, I've taken the
hint, I just wondered why Mr Brazil, as lovely as they are,
mentioned me. Probably just to spite me.

Bless you, you are kind. I've done stuff but it's all the
same I'm afraid, no great advances. In the last couple of
days though I struck up an alliance with a genius and she
and I are putting together an "obscene folk electro" act
with facistic undertones. I genuinely feel it's my calling
in life and, after the one off, swastikered speedoed
performance, I'll be able to do myself in, quite happily.

No, not to spite you—well okay, maybe there’s a little
spitefulness here, but that had always been the preferred
method in which one would have to communicate with you in.
By your design of course, as it had become apparent that
there was no way to be civil with you.
But anyways…
I just thought that it was a bit of a shame that you are no
longer here and that most likely you will never be here
again. That is, with a significant presence.
You knew about music. You knew about electronic music. You
made music. You made electronic music.
Not a better fit possible with Xltronic one would think, but
I suppose not.
I enjoyed the few spats we had against one another, however
short they were; and enjoyed a few more you had with other
members. To me you were like Don Rickles, only witty and
funny.
I tell you what…
Saturday I have planned a typical night of debauchery to
smother my self-loathing, which, coincidentally, creates
more self-loathing.
I will drink and do drugs past all fathomable human limits;
pushing the distance my shoddy body can go like that English
white boy did so many years ago, running a mile under four
minutes.
I will travel from house to house meeting up with various
faggots and dykes of the city and local suburbs; always in a
basement with scant light filtering through a fog of exhaled
smoke.
I will choose or be chosen by a femme girl I usually don’t
know, to spend the rest of the night with. A small group of
other couples, some male, some female, but coupled same-sex,
will drive through the night to higher, deserted ground.
Now this is the important part, Dan…
At about two in the morning, turn everything off. Get rid of
all the noise around you. Create silence. And listen.
LISTEN!
Listen. Through the stagnate air of Chile. Over the podunk
countries that fill in the space between you and me…
I will be riding in the backseat of some shitty Toyota
Corolla staring at my mobile…waiting...for 2am to flicker
across its color screen. And exactly then will I thrust my
upper body out the w

And exactly then will I thrust my upper body out the window,
wielding a fist to night sky above, and yell…
Listen. LISTEN! You just might hear the faint echo of
something familiar carry through. For just an instant you
might hear your name…dog_belch.

That's one of the most beautiful things I ever read. Twice
this week , when I've felt not only below water, but sunken
beneath the rotten sea bed, an unattaianble stranger has
made an absurdly affecting gesture.

I won't apologise for our spats as, I guess, they are more
genuine than exchanging pleasantries. At 2am I'll still my
barnacled, shellfish hear, hold my flooded lungs and will
the tide to carry your cry.

I don't think it's a coincidence that smothering your
self-loathing with shallow acts of debauchery creates more
self-loathing.

I just read Mr Brazil's epic to the tune of some excellent
electronic music, and I must say I also thought it was one
of the most beautiful posts I've ever read.
