i dunno. i think with really great albums, you can just
learn to love them through and through for what they are,
but i wouldn't necessarily equate that with perfection...

for example, i can listen to and enjoy every note of pet
sounds, but i wouldn't say that their version of Sloop John
B is a perfect song or anything...
i'm not sure i can think of anything.

for a more recent one i'd select our love to admire by
interpol. i sincerely think it's their most enjoyable album
even though none of the critics seem to agree. it's
definitely in the 'grower' category of perfect albums. very
crunchy guitars.

approach them again. i really loved the beats/drum machine
on the first album, as a kid.

thats really too bad, here comes the indian for me is one of
the prime examples of what music can be outside of the
started compositional sphere.

primal, esctatic, frightening... its like dropping acid and
dancing around a campfire all night.

oh, and i really cant believe i forgot to list mr. bungle -
california the first time around.

also i would list daft punk - discovery if it weren't for
the extreme bore of a track called night vision. i always
skip that one when listening to that album.

i didn't say there's anything wrong with them, as long as
trying to sell your sounds is concerned, but you can't
compare Enigma to e.g. Dead Can Dance (genre related ????),
unless you're somehow deaf !
