What sort are you going for? I was looking at them today. I
saw a 128mb (SD card, so cheaply/easily upped to the 512/1gb
size I want) one for £6! Only thing was, it was one of
these AA battery ones that eats batteries (I already have
one of those). I'd like something like a Creative equivalent
of the ipod shuffle, and it must have a built in
battery, ideally rechargeable via USB.

if i listen to music too often then i start to take it for
granted. i keep my music locked up in my apartment when i go
out.

Buy some of those rechargeable batteries. You can get them
quite cheap with a charger, and they come in handy for lots
of things anyway.

It's depressing that an over-priced product lasting 3 years
is considered a good life-span.

i was checking out iriver , because one of them can record

i know there are rechargable AA's now but never used them so
i don't know if they work well. i don't like the idea of a
built in battery that stops holding charge after 500 or so
recharges
