Just rewatched this movie i had seen as a kid..and I was amazed...what an incredible movie...warped bizzare..surreal... with stunning set design and set pieces and incredible music....like this one... it begs the question did Jerry invent Goth?..Bear in Mind this is 1960-1...even before Velevet Underground and Nico... other interesting observations...the white set is very reminiscint of what Charlie Kaufman and Michael Gondry used in Human Nature for Afterlife... and the entrance of Miss Cartilage...Sam Raimi nicked that for the Spiderman Kiss no? |
