...seriously, everyone should rush out get themselves a
BMX; great fun to be had! I got mine 6 months ago, but my
friend decided that it needed to be tweaked and he was the
man to do it...so, I god it back a week ago, and the past
two days have been the awesome!

I started yesterday barely being able to pull a bunny hop,
and by today I was bunnyhopping over kerbs and speedbumps,
doing wheelies onto ledges and riding along them and
bunnyhopping off em, and riding down double sets of stairs,
and on the way home I BMXed through a school and saw a set
of raised wooden beams which made me feel like an old
Kickstart contestent.

Awesome Factor 100%

I used to have some great BMX's. Had a PK Ripper in the 80's
and in the late 90's had a GT Pro Performer.

...Oh, of course, listening to my mp3 player at the same
adds to the greatness.. my two main locations are:

the local university (this is Aberdeen University and it is
very old), which has lots of stairs, ledges, and kerbs..
also has some sloped cobblestone things which are fun to
ride along.

the beach: lots of double-stairs, small stairs to bunny-hop
off, or wheelie down, benches to wheelie onto etc, other
general beachy stuff... awesome fun..

I would love to have a freestyle BMX but the local homies
and gypsys would steal it and beat me up on the first ride.

I'm a big fan of flatland not so much street.

I can't wait to get pegs that fit (the ones supplied with my
BMX were too big), so that I can start grinding ledges and
build up to railings... it's gonna be a fun summer.

awesome! i always wanted to get me a BMX-bike a few years
ago. never did, though. BMXing isn't really suitable for
norway, anyways. not at least where i live.

i had my first bmx (a heavy as fuck dyno compe wich my
parents bought me) stolen, then got a little $200 mongoose
which now sits 3000 miles away from me in a basement.

theres a skate park-turned-bike park only a block from my
house and i often wish i had the funds/balls to get back
into it and try that shit out again.

what i had to use it for!

Hehehe.
