it was great
for an aesthete like me an ae performance now is spiritual
experience

the only parts i recognised were a bit of pro radii and IV
VV IV VV VII

i guess their new album will be somewhere in between the two
albums those track are from, something like untilted but
with more synths. but i guess you can judge that better
yourself from this set they did in belgium

i did move quite a bit :)
but i only danced in the more traditional sense of the word
to the electro that was played after
that electro did get boring. i kept thinking 'if only
vlari was the dj'

it was really cool
really an abstract eartquake
hilarious they provided free earblockers(pieces because of
the hard sounds of autechre

that dj sado before autechre was pretty cool too playing
aphex records at half a speed and the records from 22:30 and
further were cool did anyone recognize something??

Apart from the Aphex stuff I think he played a Keynell remix
or something similar. Yeah he was pretty cool and played
good tracks!

Autechre were nifty. Thankfully, the sound was much better
than in Eindhoven two years ago. The set was similar to the
other ones from this year, but they did do some things I
hadn't heard before. Mostly bass-filled interludes that
really got the air moving!

Some idiot went up on the stage and took pictures of Sean
and Rob 2 meters from their faces.

The DJ after Autechre was ok.

I realised one thing: I don't think Autechre will ever
release a live album. On cd, the experience would be totally
lost; it would be disappointing after seeing them live.
Besides that, I think they're just not interested in it.

PS I happily made use of the free earplugs, they didn't mess
up the sound in the slightest!

Fall of '08? Fuck, if it's going to take that long, it
might as well be a double disc.

If they're looking for something new to do, they might as
well go down that route then.
