Why isn't anybody falling over themselves to produce fakes before the album's out? Come on guys, you're gett ing lazy. Acid soaked analogue and digital, fussy not quite dance music, using old machines and samplers, come on, it's an easy formula, just get on with it.

o pullease! give me a REAL challenge. i only come out of my bed to produce some fake autechre, or vsnares. those are the real challenges. superduper complex beats created. weird noises. pure chaos. hardly anybody can do that stuff. not even my 0.7 years old nephew.

go check out the Techdiff tracks in the Watmm's "imitate venetian snares contest" they sound imo better than Vsnares, like a more perfected version of his style.
and thanks i worked very hard on those Autechre fakes, now go by my album!!! ;-)

you could go even farther and more cynical and say
I thought the entire breakcore scene was a big attempt at faking a guy who is doing bad half-assed squarepusher attempts already.

No The Tuss is not AFX
Richard D Jamms is The Tuss
I had a dream whilst I was driving it was one of BOC. And then when I was washing up it occurred to me it could be Hall and Oates.
Then when I was wiping the condensation from the window I entertained some fanciful conjecture that The Tuss is a psuedonym of Jarvis Cocker.
Then when I was having trouble shifting a particularly troubleseome motion I wagered I heard in the melody of Fredugolon 6 something of Buster Bloodvessel.

Its hard to make the black keys sound discordant. That's why people use them. If I wanted to do a nice slow attack paddy sound then its black keys all the way. omg me=afx! where's my tank?

The only good thing I can think that can come out of the bloated excess and fan fleecing exercise that Analord constituted is that Richard D James gets thoroughly fed up of hearing the fucking word Analord.

That is what I have been thinking. This whole thing reminds me of the Astrobotnia episode where certain bits 'definitely sounded like Richard" and then when it became clear it was Mr P the same people refused to beleive it.
Regardless of whether it is Perala, James or someone else I really like it and am happy it is available.
