I was having a talk with my dad today about my sexual apathy. He told me that when i was really young, perhaps 4 or 5, I walked in on him masturbating just as he reached orgasm, with his eyes rolled back and knees buckled. Shortly after, I was drawing pictures of what I saw, and I drew his eyes as X X's. hahah, I have no memory of this! And he would always rip them up and throw them away, in shame. |

I was about to say yes, but after reading that, well... in comparison to that, no. I have a love/hate relationship with my mother. Sometimes she can be awesome, sometimes I really despise her. I have an almost non-existent relationship with my father. |

i'm lucky with my parents too... i can talk to them quite openly, i can even criticize them. i just don't talk to them about sensitive subjects like sexuality or whatever, but it's because i don't want to, not because i'd fear their reaction. |

I can. I have. I will and do when I need to. I can talk to my mom about anything, comfortably, and she's helpful and understanding. Despite this, I go out of my way to be secretive and distant anyway, except for circumstances few and far between. It's my gimmick. |

i don't know wether it's benificial per se to be that open to your parents about sex, for instance when you want to you talk about that stuff do it with your friends i can't really say why you shouldn't talk with your parents about sex. except that it's forced because it goes against nature im exaturating a bit here |

In the old days if you'd said to your dad that you weren't really interested in girls, they would have taken that to mean you were gay and stuck you in the army or a mental hospital. Now they tell you one of their wanking anecdotes. I think after that I'd either go mad or run away to join the army. |

some things are too personal for friends. i like to have the option to tell my parents anything without being rejected or laughed at, which they would never do. there's no ridicule or shame in the picture, just understanding. |

haha i daon't discuss intimate things with them but appart from that we have a good realtionship i think..we only see each other few times per year though, so that may have something to do with it. i mean, i've seen very little of them in the past 10 years or so, so maybe things would have been different if i still saw them on regular basis..or maybe not since they're kinda alright! |
