This album is certifiably fucking great, it's quite
different from the older stuff as they kicked out Rutmanis
and had Denison and Stanier record guitar/drums first and
have Patton add vocals and effects afterwards. The sound has
taken quite a drastic turn towards more native american
beats and melodies, but you still hear their signatures
seeping through. Really good, perhaps my favorite album of
theirs, although their whole line-up is quite strong
(especially their debut).

stanier ya say huh? hmm... might have to check it in that
case, even tho i hate patton. although, i will admit, his
contribution to the come to daddy cover weren't too shabby.
come to think of it, i've always liked fnm. go figure that
one out!

Certainly came as a surprise when I stuck it on, sounds more
like Fantomas than the first two albums. Haven't made it all
the way through but I'm not sure I dig the change in
direction, I liked stuff like 'Point and Click' and 'Capt
Midnight' (ie the FNM sounding stuff). Didn't think much of
Peeping Tom either, the Norah Jones song was extremely
embarassing.

Peeping Tom sucked, I haven't enjoyed Patton stuff much
since the last Tomahawk album. I wish he'd do something more
akin to FNM sometimes, but I really enjoy this new album.

i like tomahawk as a continued fix for my jesus lizards
jonesing...if its gone all fantomas then...hmm...will have
to recalibrate my dosage and expectations as I dont mind
fantomas as its own entity
