Wipeout does have great tracks - yes, I do agree! I think
though, the soundtracks were much better than the gameplay
though!

Nah, not really Asche. XL had a decent ST (Photek & FSOL),
but 1 and 3's sucked in my opinion. Dance music is shit.

The Silent Hill series has some amazing dark ambient music.

JOE SATRIANI's Crystal Planet has some beautiful video game
music. It sounds totally like Racing Car Video Game music.
anyone else know this great album? Particularly, I think
"up in the sky," "house full of bullets" and especially
"crystal planet" are suited for racing car games. This is a
very very clean and polished guitar album. crystal clean,
if you will. joey

there was this old game boy game, battletoads (number 1)
like the 4th level, when you're at this place where you
fight kangaroos with boxing gloves... the music there is
awesome.

www.mp3.com/imaginaryfantasy is very videogamish but not
from an actual videogame. also there's a great mp3.com
station called "chip tunes" (you can search and find it
there)

is a wonderful piece of music.

The most underated game music of all time?

Wario Land 4 on the Gameboy advance. Really comes into its
own when you listen through headphones. Sadly emulators make
the sound awful, so you'll have to actually buy it to hear
the music. Some of the tracks are very IDM/noise the most
boundry pushing (musically) sounds in a game IMO.

Gomola Speed on the nec pc-engine.
what a weird game, what a great weird soundtrack !

solstice on the Nes was ace too.

dragonus on the xl800 (or was it on amiga)

ninja spirit sounds great too (nec pc engine)...
...I stil want to make a remix of it.

ah, nostalgie quand tu nous tiens...

Apparently he didn't. Some other guy did, although NIN are
credited with it in the game. John Romero is good mates with
trent apparently.
