ok time has come to discover the good and less good things
about the new bjork album. As a whole album for me is 50%
Homogenic & 50% Medùlla because it has kind of hip hop
beats but all quite noisy. Earth intruders is slightly
different from i tunes version; the other "timbaland" track
is Innocence and it's one of the best things bjork ever
made; it's seems like old Prince or Michael Jackson stuff.
Eminem, M.Elliott etc will feel ashamed of not having
written a track like this.
To all Homogenic fans (like me) the great surprise is
Declare Indipendance that make Pluto sounds like pop music.
It's weird tekno with bjork screaming and speaking in
CSS-style.
Another great piece of work is second song Wanderlust, very
Mark Bell-Warp sound. The whole record has reference to old
'90 techno (the end of Wanderlust for example). Somewhere
the album is boring and the thing I DON'T like are the duets
with Antony cause she doesn't need to be supported from
other singers in what she does; somewhere else music reminds
that of Drawing restraint 9 ost, but i'm not so a fun of
that sound.
Anyway it's a great work, and I don't expect to hear nothing
better this year so for me is

8.5/10 (for now, I admit I listened only once) reccomend the
purchase it's worth your money

Yes Cansei de Ser Sexy. Actually the vocalist (if there is
any in that group) looks very Bjorkish

boring album. i look forward to hearing a high quality rip,
though, since there are some interesting sounds on it.

whether or not you're being sarcastic, i agree with that. i
hope an instrumental version of this album is released,
though i strongly doubt it.

how come you still cope with detroit sound after all these
years? : )

i don't know how in love with the "detroit sound" i am as
much as into the cool basslines and stuff that sometimes
come with it...the melodies on volta don't really do much
for me so i hone in on how bored i am of bjork's aimless
wailing. i look at most music that way...there are sounds
(a fancy bjork screech?), and then there are the ways iin
which they are used, and if they aren't used in a way that
interests me, i can't make myself care. maybe this is a
narrow way of looking at music but i'm a narrow person.

i was kiddingm but i know what you mean..it's definitelly
all about whether you find something interesting or not..no
point in trying to like something if it doesn't happen on
its own : )
