Can you smell the BS in the press Release?

Confederation Trough’ EP is the debut single of new
Rephlex signing The Tuss aka Brian Tregaskin, a musician
discovered via intensive MySpace exploration by the A&R
dept.
Apparently touted by labels such as XL and Ninja, The
Tuss’s official line seems inspired by the time FFRR
signed
Chicago house legend Lil Louis’ smash hit ‘French
Kiss’, even tho they had no information about him at all
at the time!
The EP features 4 tracks across 2 formats (just 3 tracks on
each tho), featuring a unique blend of head music and dance
vibes, everything from acid / house / techno / industrial to
pastoral and folk influences.
Tracklist:

- 12": A. Fredugolon 6 B1. Alspacka B2. Akunk
- CD: 1. Fredugolon 6 2. Alspacka 3. GX1 Solo

I *really* hate it when rephlex include the full range of
tracks spread across multiple fomats. They did it with the
Black Devil Disco Club too and it basically means spending
twice the amount to get the complete product.

this is true. however, i'll probably only be getting one
format regardless. so im happy with this news of a fourth
track.
you're money making schemes don't work with me!

ANAGRAMS OF CONFERDERATION TROUGH:

A force too thundering
Unforgotten acid hero
Re-education of throng
Ergo, it not a French duo.
Go teen Richard, fun too.
An orthodontic refuge
A god of incoherent rut
No-tooth generic fraud
Toughened fornicator

which amount to the full album of 16 tracks.

Yes. It's fucking awful. And with the pisspoor marketing of
fleecing the only people that buy his bloody records, ie The
Fans, by sticking one different track on two formats.. ah
fuck him and his mate's label, their time is long over.

This is the new dawn of electronic music: the overall track
might be shit but listen to that bit at 2:04 or the way the
snare ever so slightly tweaks at 4:16... Genius. Well done,
you've made very fucking boring music. Enjoy yourself in
Collector Scum Hell and wondering what happened to acid
house.

RussellTuss, I don't think he'd released 11 EPs before he
released 11 Analord EPs, or what about the wanker kids now
that refer to any record with more than 3 tracks as an
"album"? I think if you were going to piss on your chips you
would release 11 very similar sounding, patchy EPs that
would only appeal to people that wouldn't know music if it
farted in their ear, and then to release MORE under another
name becuase... well, you get the people buying it that
think it's Aphex.. PLUS the people that think it's... The
Tusk.. tee hee it's some French man from Cornwall.. the
bloke's fucking ill. Get out in the fresh air mate, have a
pint, watch the telly, get over you weren't in 808 State,

Will you shut up about The fucking Tuss? It annoys the fuck
out of me.

You can see why I want shot of this fucking fucking
backwater. Why do I give a shit about this piss? Fucking
hell.

Press Release: A man burbled on his machines. Released it
under new name but on his own label with telltale artwork so
it wasn't that much of a mystery. Though gave out misleading
press release to excite the dwindling record buyers of the
artist, now all largely to be found in Norway and some other
Nordic backwaters where they have precious little talent of
their own.

hmm... considering all the anlaords were only
released on vinyl, that might be your first clue that they
were intended for... oh... idk... let's say... maybe
DJ'ing... for ya know... like real dj's... who dj
real records... in real clubs... and at parties and shit.
the limited edition run of the binders for the initial
release was a gimmick by him acknowledging the fact that all
the fan boys would be clamoring up to shell out the quid
necessary to procure one immediately. so if you don't dj, i
can see how you might get confused about "11 very similar
sounding, patchy EPs
" if you're just a fan boi.

Tell me you're joking and I really will... walk away. Though
I know anyone with a turntable these days, by default, is a
DJ, in your horrible teenage world, unlike, 5 minutes ago
when people.. just bought records.

offline EVOL from a long time ago on 2007-04-19 20:49 [#02073853]

oh god, if that's all it's going to take then, yes... yes, i
am joking. now please, take a step back, turn around, and
climb up between your mommy's legs and inside her womb again
where none of this will ever hurt you again.

you sure are good at assuming things and making things up
and putting words in other peoples mouths. of course people
can still "just buy records." since you don't understand
something, or something isn't up to your preconceived
standards, i don't wanna have to read about you crying over
it everyday. but because i do, then i'm gonna call you out
on it, whenever it's felt that you're being a sissy la la.

i mean shit, the main point of my post is that those records
(analords) give an artist (dj) something to work with on 1s
and 2s. it's up to you what you do with them if you
happened to buy them yourself. and if it's only to listen
to on a turntable in your bedroom then stfu if they don't
fulfill your expectations of what a good record should be.
that's like getting upset over the fact that you can't dry
your cat off in the microwave after you give it a bath. and
no, don't assume i think that means you're a chef.
nutbag.

He seems to dig linear drums now if this is his work. One of
the first 5 rdj album tracks, maybe 3 or 5, is such acid
that its still acidic an octave lower and much better than
these.
