That looks pretty OK. I wasn't a fan of the first one, as much as I love zombie movies.

this looks like it could be good, but obviously it has to overcome the problem of being a sequel. however, shots of a desolate london will, i think, never fail to impress.
as long as there's some hilarity included, like the chained zombie in the first film, then this could be quite entertaining. the black military figure looks like he could have some fantastic, stereotypical one-liners.

looks like shit to me.
the first one lost its way after an hour and this seems to be heading further down the whole military route, this time with yanks. yawn. rather than fund a shitty knock-off sequal to an alright british horror movie hollywood should be investing in adapting the first couple of books of the awesome Walking Dead comics to the screen.

I don't think it looks quite like a knock off though.

It doesn't have any of the people from the last movie?
Ok, lame. I'd rather see a continuation of the first characters' story. To me, that's more interesting than watching an entirely different plotline unfold, the ending of which will probably be similarly nondescript so they can *gasp* make a trilogy out of it. I mean, the first one was pretty good, but the creators should look to 'Alien' to see what happens when you try to milk every last penny out of an idea.

That looks almost as good as the Blair Witch follow up.

Yep, at the expense of the quality and integrity of the original idea. Then again, conscience has become a third-rate commodity so lets all become money whores!

i thought the first one was excellent; screw those purists who say the only acceptable zombies are the romero stiff-legged slow walking style.
also, i did love land of the dead finally showed zombies attacking huge mobs of people instead of the typical lone 5-10 person group, and this seems like it could deliver more.

Aside from Night of the Living Dead Romeros films are shit.
I am suprised no one has made mention of the fact that the sequel isnt being directed by Danny Boyle.
Alex Garland (the writer of the original) is board which is a good sign.

I think no one's mentioned it because it's obvious and he's not that good a director so it's no great loss unless you're looking out for The Beach II or A Life Less Ordinary II. Or 28 Days later after drugging Christopher Eccleston he agrees to play "Mad Army bloke" who wants to regenerate the human race by letting his boys shag anyone, oh, and Zombies in the first half.
