I rented one for a weekend with Halo. It was a wicked game but we passed it easily and there are only like 6 different enemies (wtf?) so it doesnt have much replay value. Multiplayer jsut isnt as good in Halo as it is in perfect dark either which is too bad cause the controls and graphics in Halo are amazing, jsut isnt very fun after awhile. |

I havent played game cube, but I prefer the games available on computer to the new consoles. I feel like xbox/PS2 are all about the graphics and not about fun. Maybe im just playing the wrong games. Give me Age of empires 2 any day over a console. |

there's already a xbox emulator. it's made by one developper of the xbox os. it run xbox games perfectly, but with a 800 mhz pross. 128 m ram min, and Nvidia video card only. i heard microsoft is searching over the net to eradicate it. |

I fancy a Gamecube. £150(ish), nice controller... but the games! Where are the gaaaaammes? I mean no third party stuff, half the shit you can get on X-Box and Gamecube has been on PC for six months and costs £15 |

I don't like the X-Box at all! The difference is not that much better really than what my PS2 is capable of (from what I have seen! The controllers for it are horrendous - I'll be keeping my PS2 until PS3 is released! |

It's a shame the Gamecube doesn't play DVDs though! I allways used to buy Nintendo consoles, but now I have turned to Sony. There is a much better variety of games available. Not quite sure how well X-Box will be! Microsoft might do well in the business world and the home pc market, but whether or not they'll do as good in the console market remains to be seen! Time will tell! |

My favorite game company is Nintendo, but the Gamecube just doesn't have the GAMES to keep my attention. The first party games are fucking awesome, Metroid, Perfect Dark, Zelda, Mario, but N64 didn't have the third party support that Sony had. Doesn't look Gamecube can compete with the PS2 either. Microsoft can suck my dick, two consoles are MORE than enough. I hope the Xbox crashes and burns. I'll probably buy a Gamecube, though. It's pretty cheap. |

I agree Ophecks - I think Microsoft will learn the hard way! Nintendo have been around for years, and I think Sony got lucky with the Playstation, and maybe Microsoft are thinking that they'll have the same success, I doubt it! |

Sony just came out of nowhere to just dominate everyone, it was pretty revolutionary. I hope Microsoft doesn't do something like that... but it looks like they're in third place anyway, not on the same level. Fortunately! Perfect Dark was awesome, and I can't wait for Perfect Dark Zero on the Gamecube! Great games coming out for Nintendo in the next year, but all the games out for it now suck. |

I still play Super Nintendo on emulators more than the new systems! I just beat Super Castlevania 4 last night for about the 7,568th time. Gameboy Advance is fucking amazing, it's portable SNES, old school 2D gaming, like the old days! Circle of the Moon is the best game I've played in a while. |

I wouldn't mind a Gamecube, but the thing is I have loads of PS2 games now, and I don't really want (or can't afford) two games consoles at the moment. As I mentioned above..I want a PS3 when they release it in 2005! That will be a machine to blow both Gamecube and X-Box out of the water!! |

i got an xbox today with jet set radio future, and i'm extremely happy with it. i should be getting ninja gaiden by the end of the week. jet set radio future, panzer dragoon orta, gun valkyrie, shenmue 2, dead or alive 3 and ninja gaiden make the xbox a dreamcast 2 for me. |

Oh my, how times have changed! Over the last 2 years, I've lost almost all faith in Nintendo, and Microsoft have won me over. But I think Sony is going to pull ahead even further next gen. That's a great list of games. I've got and love them all, except Dead of Alive. They're all dirt cheap, too... since you're a Segaphile, have you ever played Otogi? |
