I like old western movies and am now just getting into them. I just bought fistfull of dollars and for a few dollars more (apparently the prequals of good/bad ugly) but havn't watchedem yit. I never saw brazil. Just saw 'the tin star' (black and white) and it was pretty good.
I love the movie 'hombre' with paul nemwan. Even the part where the humorously bad special effects of overly bright red solid color microsoft paint style blood splatter occurs adds to it. Barren desert backgrounds simplify things and bring the characters to the foreground better. Fargo had that, only they used snow.
You know what I hate... when stupid modern humans bring their stupid modern gadgets into their movies... you know that scene you've seen dozens of times in modern movies... a character is on... a computer... and its supposed to be suspensful and stuff... like oh no, input output!... type type type, that is TEH ultimate action packt thrila fukn g shnak plutonium

both films are masterpieces. it all boils down to personal preference..
i happen to prefer the good, the bad and the ugly.

you should check out "Cool Hand Luke", also with mr. Newman. great movie about being a lovable rascal. has an awe inspiring scene including big tits, soap and a car. such a manly movie.

Fuck, I just diced goatse's 'hello.jpg' into 30 squares and mixed them up. I was going to make a topic called "Can YOU solve teh puzzle?" but gimp froze on me at the VERY last second like it so often does.
I saw cool hand luke and own it already; it is great. Anyone know the name of the movie where some white guy gets captured by tribal black people or something. Then they let him go on purpose so they can hunt him down, and the whole movie is him running away from them in the desert (one time he sets a fire to get away).

Since I can't find the damned movie thread: 300 - 3/5: movie for angry narcissistic 13 years old boys and other geeks, but due to the historical content still interesting enough to view while eating some popcorn and drinking some coke on a lazy afternoon.
