back. my god i'm tired. did the school boy error of taking all our pills on thursday and friday leaving me knackered and with nothing left on saturday 8( when will i learn? also i missed all the people i wanted to see cos the overkill tent was flooded on friday, strangely i still caught spusher by accident, he was on on saturday before otto von schirack. i hadn't actually wanted to see him either cos he just fucks around on that bass guitar and pisses me off instead of laying down the beats but he played proper this time. I also caught ochre at ID spiral, i didn't even know he was gonna be there! ID spiral was way more upbeat then usual this year. Saturday night they actually had some awesome trance playing. other than that i just kinda wandered and danced at which ever stage was taking my fancy at the time. gutted i missed the bangface stuff though, i was really looking forward to cursor miner, ceephax and luke vibert. |

well who the fuck was it then smart arse, cos he looked like and sounded like tom jenkinson (i seen tom live 8 times now so i have a fair idea of how he looks and sounds) and at the end of his set he said, 'that was squarepusher rave, now it's time for otto von schirak rave' and otto came on next. it wasn't who the line up said, i think it was supposed to be milanese and it certainly wasn't him. the entire overkill line up was messed up anyway cos it was closed for over 8 hours due to flooding. did you actually even see any of this or are you just looking at the printed line up? i know spusher was supposed to on the next day at a different stage, but there he was on saturday having a little go too, sorry if u missed it. |
