Do you really own a continental gt?

I was considering breaking the bank to get one.

That's actually meant to be a (toy) '98 Toyota Corrola
Sportif. I remember seeing it at the time and thinking that
it looked more like a luxury car in the picture than my
lowly workhorse. Amusingly, the lines are actually very
similar and the grill & badge on that one looks more like a
Bentley than a toyota. Come to think of it, it probably
actually is a toy GT that was just mislabelled.

Sadly I don't have a Continental GT, but it's the car I
aspire to own one day, much nicer than the more popular DB7,
etc. I quite like the GTC too, I reckon that'd be nice for
touring in Europe. I'd far prefer that sort of car to a
Ferrari/Maserati, etc. the Bentley Classic Turbo R is the
nicest car I've actually been for a drive in.

Hanal: Awesome news! Once my garage is rebuilt, I might
recommence looking for one myself. :D

BTW, is that a VXR, or an SRI?

I've driven all the Astra variants (and most of the engine
sizes) bar the VXR and I just don't like the handling (aside
from the usual gash Astra gearbox/clutch). In most respects,
I quite like them, but I found they loose grip a bit too
easily when "giving it some" on even fairly gentle curves.
If it's the VXR, is the handling much better in that?

I actually quite like Astras as a whole bar the
gearbox/clutch. I particularly like the bigger engined
Vectra SRIs. Suprisingly powerful and it handled so
predictably/gave so much feedback that even a fairly average
stunter like me was able to repeatedly drift around a
roundabout.

I just bought a new Jeep Wrangler Unlimited (picked it up
Tuesday). It's such a pleasure to drive a vehicle where
everything actually functions...
