wtf mate. I just started playing some mp3's and while it's
playing them all the sounds on my computer go into slow
motion... wtf is going on?

i'll make recordings cause it's really weird

that sounds pretty typical actually. If you multiple things
trying to do things at once. especially with asio

no but it only does it when i play this one album. and it
did it once before when i was playing porn. listen to that
clip, that's what it sounds like when i record. it's
literally going slow motion, not like stuttering or
anything. and i can play a different file seconds after and
it will be normal.

if i run audacity and wmplayer at the same time, it slows
all the sounds to half-speed for some obscure reason -
whatever both programs are playing as well as all the
windows sounds. and if you close one of the two programs,
the computer dies immediately and restarts itself. its
dodgy.

Erm I dunno sample rates or something? If the DACs on your
soundcard are clocking out the data at half the rate due to
some sample rate shenanigans then it will sound slow.
Maybe it is something else.
Maybe I just don't care.

I never have problems when I legitmately buy music, it's
only dodgy downloads that play up, except for those 45's
with the wrong label saying 33.3 anyway......maybe put your
hand in your pocket and buy it instead.hint.hint.
