Brilliant, I've got most of his albums (at least all the
good ones), very very good stuff. Beats W. Carlos by miles.

my dad used to play snowflakes are dancing on vinyl at home
when i was about 10. i ripped his new CD version over
christmas and im only just listening to it now, aaahh
memories. its good stuff.

my only complaint is he doesnt do much of his own
compositions. I have a lot of his older records like the
Planets and snowflakes,and some of those are so manipulated
and wakcy they are barely recognizable.

he's one of the insane musicians like Jarre who some how
convinced like local governments to help him arrange
gigantic technology concerts involving helicopters flying
overhead with speakers on wires pointing down at the
audience.

I was first introduced to Tomita unbeknownst to me via Jack
Horkheimer's 'Stargazer' segments on PBS. The music and the
show in general struck such a chord with me. Back before I
even realized it was Tomita I made this great 20+ minute
remix of the track. This was back when I thought that
longer=better for ambient music. Anyway, I bet Neto will
post here eventually...

hehe, yeah, I guess Tomita and Jarre are similar in that
respect.
