a friend of mine and I got into an argument to the relevence of Jeff Mills sponsored product that you can buy on the Axis site.
I say go for it... they were sayin he sold out.....
But I will admit. the Axis 4 pc. wrench set seems alittle off base to where his "sweet spot" would be product wise. I can understand if he was a mechanic by trade. But if his store is more along the stuff and things that are true to who he is... who am I to call him wrong?
btw... you can read the invite on the Axis records website.

Goldeneye font and a fascist's cross ('spose it ties in well with 'axis'). Nice combination!
I think a lot of the stuff is pretty odd, I mean, who'd buy a techno artist branded motorcycle helmet? Other bikers would shun you (they like rock, you see) and I'd question how well it'd perform in a crash.
Still, I have a lot less of a problem with him branding in this way than I do with say, Ministry of Sound DJs putting their branding on really bad, sub-quality DJing equipment that they themselves would never in a million years use.

Oh and as to the chocolate tools, maybe a (thinly linked)reference to 'Time Mechanic'?

maybe his Mrs. is running tings these days which would explain the change of style/policy recently
mind you, he's done enough to relax and do whatever he wants. catering for the rich & high brow intellectual fashion white german bourgoisee could be the easiest option.
have you checked any of those old school wizard mixes - amazing, props due

oh god yeah... he deserves all the success he gets considering he was just another kid with skill who's gone on to capture and ride that elusive path to being a superstar....
that in itself isn't easy... tons of possible points where he could've fallen off.
