got no results on ebay, just a little more knowledge on what
doesn't work...but i don't understand as to WHY!

set the starting bid at 99 cents

guaranteed auction success

if you're really worried about them not selling for enough
then put a reserve on 'em,

but i recommend you don't as it puts people off

Why do you think it's fucked up for a sacred object to be on
ebay? The temple needs as much exposure as possible. we
aren't going to only sell to those who only come in to the
temple. There's a vast population that are into Kalachakra,
and other empowered objects.

Could you please elaborate?

i think he means it's maybe a tad unethical

Everyone at the temple are being unified by combining out
talents to set up an ebay store, what's unethical about
unified a new sangha of people through e-comerce?

As the others have, said, plus I'd add (as an
afterthought):

Some people are put off from buying stuff they might
percieve as from a "cult", or even just a religion different
to their own. Obviously, this won't lose you any sales on
religious paraphenalia, but perhaps on the music stuff?

I mean no disrespect in this; they're not my views. It's
just that as you're in America and a lot of people are
vehemently anti anything other than Christianity when it
comes to religion, it's something to consider.

Maybe eBay's not the place to sell items of this kind of
thing. I'd suggest setting up your own online store and
maybe your own site dedicated to this subject so that "the
right" people who were interested in thias field might visit
for information or whatever and then buy an empowered plate,
I can do it all for you for $500.

it's a very nice looking pendant. why not sell it for what
it is, rather than claim it's 'empowered' and 'grants
blessings'.

so you dont see anything wrong with "OUR TEMPLE NEEDS
EXPOSURE SELL SHIT ON THE INTERNET"

i mean seriously.

Are you suggesting a myspace page is more the way to go?

"darirulaitemple has 431 friends"

Would you sell an empowered pendant for normal pendant
prices?

You can buy solid gold neck chains down the pub for less
that $108 that have been 'empowered' from someones neck
that
a) look better b) could be sold on once you fix the clasp.
