Anyone into this band? I'm just starting to
investigate them - I've heard their name from way back, and
today, whilst passing the time by reading the King Crimson
pages on Allmusic, they popped into my head for no readily
apparent reason. I decided to download You're Living All
Over Me
and I'm giving it a primary listen now. Pretty
good. Sludgefeast has some Pavementesque touches, and
since Pavement are my favourite band EVER,
that's not a bad thing. (Yes, I know they pre-date
Pavement.)

They are very very very good. I don't know an awfull lot
about them, but my favourite girl adores them, and plays
them for me a lot.

Well I'm really enjoying this album - I chose it because it
was the Allmusic pick. Think I'll download a couple more and
see how it works out.

they did some brilliant stuff in my opinion. fucking hell
i'd completely forgotten about You're Living All Over Me. It
was one of the definitive albums during my adolescent years.
haven't heard it for ages. i shall now go and bathe in waves
of nostalgia.

They sound like they could be the missing link between Sonic
Youth and Pavement.

"Green Mind" is a brilliant album, as is "Bug". He went a
bit wayward after that though for me, ... I wish I still had
"Green Mind", The Wagon, what a fucking song.

Alice in Chains, Stone Temple Piolts, grunge is bad enough
fucking hell, what leaden bollocks.

Tom Jones is on the TV playing live in Viña del Mar, Chile.
Pussy Cat Pussy Cat, now there's a fucking song. Ohh, now
it's You can leave your hat on. I'm not wearing one Tom, I'm
in the nip for you!!!!

its not that i dont like them, its that i dont like them

i like what i do like, i like other things, i like plenty of
bands who are embarrassingly grouped in within a similar
sound. i guess it is of no consequence what i like. my point
is almost obselete. but really im not at all familiar with
that sound, but even if i was would anyone care? becasue i
wouldnt

Sex Bomb!

I wonder if Mousse-T visits XLT, maybe that's where the T
comes from?

I'm not Monoid, you don't have to say things like that,
p>dobbin. What bands who are similarly labelled do you
enjoy?

want me to make a thread about a band i like? and how many
ppl would listen to it? and even if 3 ppl did so what. is
that my essence of life? satre was a genius. i love the
french no wonder they shrug so much. se the world from
someone elses eyes for a fucking chabge. and no i dont mean
u paul because youre the most likely to understand what im
saying.

totally sick of the blind? well let them wonder amidst a
maze of muddy walls and let them get their hands dirty. i
have other things to do and so do you.

I like Sartre and the French, too. They both get totally
unfair slaggings these days, and it baffles me. Even my mum,
and she likes France, has her share of
French-Slagging.

Anyway, I asked because I respect your music taste and was
interested to see which names you threw up, with the
possibility of investigating them.

verse, i think therefore i am not.

*points in an aimless direction*
