One of the Best Bands Ever. Ethereal and otherworldly dream
pop / shoegaze, pure musical bliss.
I urge you to check out Head Over Heels if you haven't
listened to this band.

Have you heard "Lullabies to Violaine". It's a collection of
their Ep's. All remastered, sounds more than perfect.

i'll chime in to say fuck ya! used to bone my ladies to
their music all the time. saw cocteau twins in seattle in
about 1996 and shook simon's hand. in the audience of the
show somebody yelled out "fuck my ear!" it was the most apt
statement ever uttered at any concert.

haha!
in the old days, before an internets with graphics. when i
used to argue with foo's on Unix based Cocteau news groups.
these foo's used to all bitch and whine about what the
lyrics were. they were all, "i just bought this $200 pair
of headphones and a patchouli candle and listened so i know
that she says 'the tigers wept song blaze for you.' in that
song you ass!"

Beetles and eggs and blues and pour a little everything
else
You steam a lens stable eyes and glass
Not get pissed off through my bird lips as good news
Still we can find our love down from behind
Down far behind this fabulous, my turn rules
Beetles and eggs and blues and bells and eggs and then
blued
Beetles and eggs and blues and pour a little everything
else
You steam a lens stable eyes and glass
Not get pissed off through my bird lips as good news
You'll hang the hearts black and dull as the night
We hanged your pass and start being as you in ecstasty
Still being cried and laughed at before
Should I be sewn in hugged I can by not saying
Still being cried and laughed at from light to blue
And should I be hugged and tugged down through this tiger's
masque
And should I be sung and unbroken by not saying
You mind not saying
He'll hang that heart's black and dull as the night
Still being cried and laughed at from behind me, from gains
We hanged your pass and star being as you in ecstasy
Still being cried and laughed at from behind me, from gains
Should I be sung and unbroken by not saying
Still being cried and laughed at from behind me, from gains
Hugged and tugged down through this tiger's masque for
key

i love cocteau twins

possibly the best alternative pop band ever.

I never could get into Cocteau Twins much, although I like
the singer's guest spot on This Mortal Coil's Song to the
Siren.

much better than the Thompson Twins, but not as good as
Aphex Twins.
