Your favorite song EVER?

There is a couplet in the Lennon song, Julia, which I
identify strongly with. I find it insightfully penetrating:

When I cannot sing my heart,
I can only speak my mind.

Sums up emotional frustration leading to acerbity quite
succinctly I find.

I once had a life, or rather
Life had me
I was one among many
Or at least I seemed to be
Well, I read an old quotation in a book just yesterday
Said "Gonna reap just what you sow,
The debts you make you have to pay."
Can you get to that?

my brain gets so excited and thinking about the songs that I
have ever to like 15 times a day, that I struggle to pick
one out from the beautiful mess of musical goodness.

I have to pass on this one.

what a stupid question, anyone who seriously can decide what
their favourite song is can't like music very much.

i'd be hard pushed to narrow music down to my favourite 1000
songs.

you just killed the thread,
but i will try to revive it again with this:
ugly attempt at reviving

i cant truly choose one either,
but i like to see what people come up with.
none of my childhood or youth songs still play
an important role anymore as a single track.
but from the past ten years it would be this one:
Girl/Boy Song
