I get nostalgic for the 90s sometimes, but then I remember
I'm really "nostalgic" for how I thought the 00s would be
when I was looking ahead as a teenager.
I'm disapointed to say the least.

romantisizing (i don't know what the friggin word should be,
but you'll "catch the drift") the past is a common disease.
just get over it. it wasn't as good as it seems.
