I just found this nice quote on the InTeRnEt:

"Banksy's political attitude is actually deeply conservative
because it assumes most of us are zombies who need to be
"shocked and awed" into a new consciousness through
"radical" juxtapositions of symbols."

Yup.

my point is,original graff is on trains, not walls.
so therefore legit graff can be on walls, canvas whatever it
makes no difference.

i almost see your point, but even when an artist is
obviously influenced by graffiti, such as yourself,
spraypaint on canvas is simply canvas with a different type
of paint and therefore a painting, no matter if it depicts
graffiti letters, spraycans, walls, trains or writers etc.

I don't mean this in an offensive way or anything. I love
the use of spraypaint on canvas and there are a number of
graff artists who mastered this technique. When done right
it looks amazing. Still, graffiti is what you find outside
on walls or trains and i dont see how you or anyone else
could disagree with that. Regardless of the fact that you
are extremely skilled at both graffiti on walls, and the use
of spraypaint on canvas, whereas i am not. Anyway i believe
this is a generally accepted definition, especially among
oldschoolers, but i could be wrong.

Interestingly, the question of whether sketches on paper, or
full colour drawings of graffiti letters on paper =
graffiti, would therefore also be answered, but it lies more
complicated in that case, in my opinion, for some odd reason
i cant explain.

What matters most anyway is that graffiti is awesome.
